Raviolo Verde isn’t overstaffed — it seems that a skeleton crew runs the place. But what they lack in numbers they more than make up for in passion. The young man who served us seemed to be everywhere, helping customers make selections, checking on our food, encouraging and helping. From the southern tip of Italy, he clearly knew his stuff and was enthusiastic about his work.

It seems strange for an American to be eating Italian in Ireland. And yet there was something comforting about this cuisine that has apparently become universal. Ravioli Verde is a wonderful establishment. I recommend it.
